Pregnancy

We discovered that we were expecting a few weeks after coming home from a holiday in the USA.

The due date was initially 9-May-05.

For the first three months Claire had morning sickness, but was pleased to recover and to progress to eating like a horse!

Claire continued her Phd lab work until birth.

The baby kicked for the first time at 9:15pm 29-Nov-04. It kicked twice in a row.  Claire describes the baby movements as ‘wibble-wobbles’.

David felt the baby kick on the 10-Jan-05, he describes it as Claire flexing her tummy muscles really quickley.

At 29 weeks (21-Feb-05) Claire felt big, finding sleep difficult and is a little anemic, and ate iron tablets, but otherwise happy. The baby is much more active now. We are both looking for baby things on ebay.
